Lloyd Kaufman

The legendary Lloyd Kaufman, co-founder of Troma Entertainment and director of trash classics like THE TOXIC AVENGER and TROMEO AND JULIET, will be joining us at the Alamo Lake Creek to present our favorite of the Troma movies, CLASS OF NUKE ‘EM HIGH. This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime screening of this classic in 35mm. And the best part – it’s absolutely free!

CLASS OF NUKE ‘EM HIGH is an apocolyptic nightmare set in the most terrifying place a mutant teenager could ever imagine – a high school located next to a nuclear power plant. When the local druggie/freakazoid gang “The Cretins” start selling radioactive weed. The unwitting dopers develop some super-human abilities, and eventually the school becomes a warzone of gang violence and slimey vomit creatures. Classic Troma.

Kaufman will be stopping by to introduce the film and give you a hint of the magic that went into creating this masterpiece of subhuman cinema.
