Skinner’s original – The Toxic Avenger Troma T-Shirt will premiere only at San Diego Comic Con 2016
Troma will be premiering a truly Toxerrrific artistic Toxie t-shirt by world acclaimed artist Skinner at the San Diego Comic Con 2016, July 21-24th, it was announced today by Lloyd Kaufman, prexy of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger. Other Troma premiere merchandise will be a very limited supply of exclusive official Toxie skateboard decks, a selection of exclusive fashion statement enamel pins, iron-on patches featuring The Toxic Avenger and Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD and Poultrygeist, the novella by David Rowell Workman.
“Skinner is Toxie and Troma’s favorite contemporary artist and we are honored that he has created this Skinnerific Tromasterpiece”, says Kaufman, “I will be buying a very tight medium size for myself to wear on Saturday night after the Troma San Diego Comic Con panel when I party at San Diego’s Man Hole Club! I can’t wait!!”
Internationally acclaimed artist Skinner also made a statement about Troma;

The Oakland based and self-taught artist Skinner has shown his work all over the world in various museums, galleries and universities as well as in public spaces through his large format murals. Skinner’s designs and artwork have been celebrated and published by contemporary art magazines including Juxtapoz, Hi-Fructose, and Beautiful Decay among a number of European publications. The new t-shirt, which is printed on a soft Tultex cotton with water based inks, will be premiered and for sale at Troma Entertainment’s booth during the San Diego Comic Con 2016, where both artist Skinner and creator of The Toxic Avenger Lloyd Kaufman will be making appearing all weekend long at booth #4017 in the convention center. Kaufman and Skinner will also be featured on the Troma panel on July 23rd from 9-10 PM alongside former NYC Film Commissioner Pat Kaufman, Electric Apricot‘s Jason McHugh and creator of B.C. Butcher, Kansas Bowling.
